Sponsor | TDavid | Apr 30, 2004 10:08am | A person in the comments section of my blog posted that he is looking for a copy of the Pete Rose trial that was broadcast on ESPN July 17, 2003 and is willing to pay $100 for it. eBay? Google? Any other bloggers that are also sports fans who might have taped this?
I bet some enterprising netizen can track it down (assuming this commenter's interest is genuine of course). Here is the info for the commenter: makeyougohmm.com/pivotblg/entry.php [makeyougohmm.com/pivotblg/entry.php]
And to think I used to have this saved on TiVo too but I got rid of it because I just have one of those old wimpy 20gig drives. It was a pretty cool show, especially in light of Pete's later confession.
Legal disclaimer: though I'm not an attorney, I imagine accepting the money for the video itself would likely be a copyright violation, but maybe this guy can pay $100 for "research fees, shipping and handling" and $0 for the video itself (hint, hint). |
